This is just about as amazing as the colored version! There's something really romantic about the line art. Probably cause it could go in a lot of directions and hasn't reached full potential yet. Absolutely amazing work!

I think this is good but it could definitely be a lot better. The sword fight isn't very clear because of the composition.

If the evil guy on the right is pushing with all his strength he would be cutting off the other guys head because both their swords are at similar angles instead of opposite angles. The char. on the left isn't even blocking with his sword effectively and it's not clear which direction his sword is heading until looking closely. I had to look twice.

It seems like there is a lot of fluff in the way and the piece could be stronger with more dynamic poses and less clutter in the way of clarity. The poses seem quite week and weightless. Each char. should really be leaning into their sword, pushing would cause the elbows to bend and the arms would be up not down and to the side.

I know you didn't really ask for a critique but everyone on here should be open to it unless stating for no critique.

hmm, i dont know about you, but to me this looks they they arent fighting yet. You know, the three seconds before the fighting in a video game? it seems to me its during that time and they are glaring at each other.

the lines actually look better than the colours, i think. the contrast and lack of colour just gives it a surreal effect.. me likie.
